Mercedes-Benz Predictive Technology knowns what you want before you.

Mercedes-benz has truly embraced technology as it enters into the contextual age of passenger interaction with their vehicle by creating the predictive user experience. The predictive system is designed to take into account many variables in order to produce the best driving experience for the owner. The predictive technology takes into account conditions such as time of day, weather conditions and amount of people in the vehicle. The prediction system analyzes all of these variables to decide what action the driver is most likely to utilize upon entering the vehicle, from adjusting the temperature of the vehicle to selecting the drivers final destination and picking the most ideal route. The predictive technology is able to adjust the infotainment system and select the most ideal source of media for the driver based on the driver derived mood.
The predictive engine integrates both current and new technology to understand what the driver and passenger(s) needs are. By utilizing the seat weight sensors already in the vehicle, the system is able to know what type of passenger is in the vehicle, whether it's a child or an adult. This information, along with the other variables mentioned, helps the predictive engine to determine the ideal set up for the driver based on current conditions. Mobilegeeks spoke with Mercedes Sunnyvale R&D Center head to discuss the Predictive User and how Benz plans to secure driver privacy and more. Check the video out below for more details.
