The Romantic Dance of the Porsche 911 Targa Roof

There are fewer features other than an automatic retractable roof that can be applied to a car that will make the owner feel like the worlds most popular person. Nothing captures the attention of fellow commuters more than the under 25 mph synchronized movement of the electro-mechanical systems of a hard or soft top convertible. For 2014 there is only one company that has everyone wanting to see the top go up and down, and that company is Porsche with their 911 Targa Roof.
The system is made up of a glass dome, fabric roof lining and metal structural bracing. Seeing the roof retract makes you forget about many of the marvelous engineering features that make up the 911. It makes you want to park on Miami's most active street on the hottest day and raise/lower the roof until your face begins to hurt from smiling.
