Clash of the small giant titans: 2013 Honda Civic vs. 2014 Toyota Corolla

There is no denying that when it comes to Japanese designed cars, Toyota Corolla and the Honda Civic are among the most recognizable names in the automotive industry. They maybe placed in the small car segment but represent big profits for their respective companies. So when these companies make changes to these cars, a lot of consideration has to be made. Wanting to satisfy the needs and expectations of future customers while still holding true to the brand core identity.
For 2013, Honda made minor, but much needed updates to the Civic, while for 2014, Toyota has made significant changes to the design of the Corolla. The guys over at AutoGuide have conducted a comparison between both models to determine which is going to be the greatest hit for 2014, a mildly changed Honda Civic or a drastically redesigned Corolla. My bit is that they are both going to be winners since they provide a level of technology and styling that appeals to the masses.
