Should Tesla Be Worried As BMW i3 Electrifies The Competition

The i3 is BMW's latest plug into the world of electrified vehicle transportation. But unlike Tesla with their Toyota Camry sized car, BMW has decided to slot the slightly bigger i3 against the Smart ForTwo. BMW ignores the many accomplishments of Tesla and views the i3 as the worlds first premium electric car. The i3 size might be minuscule but its styling is grandiose. A very futuristic look at what well executed electric vehicles can look like in the future.
We at iMotoNewsBlog do not view the i3 as in competition with the Tesla Model S, but in fact we look at these two cars as brothers in the fight for engineering without limitations in a quest to provide alternative methods of efficiently getting from point A to B. The i3 Power (168bhp) and Torque (184lb-ft) figures may be low compared to the Bugatti standards we have become accustom to, but the i3 ability to drive the world of automotive design and engineering into a new direction is unmatched.
