The future of efficent driving as seen by Toyota: Hydrogen Fuel Cell

At the 2014 CES show, Toyota could be found outlining it 2015 plans to integrate Hydrogen Fuel Cells into its fleet. They outlined some of the difficulties they faced when attempting to bring the Prius to market and how the journey of seeing the Fuel Cell system come to life shared many similar roads. The new system is intended to combine Hydrogen and Oxygen in an inboard fuel cell system. The combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen will result in two things being created; water and a very cheap and easily refillable fuel source. Hydrogen is a very abundant material and according to Toyota they have the technology to make it where needed. Plans were outlined for how the locations of the selected Fuel Cell service stations were selected, taking into account the needs of their intended customers. Toyota makes it clear that their journey is far from over and that achieving the 2015 deadline is going to require full efforts from all parties, but the idea of traveling further for less is enough to provide the extra energy needed to see this dream into reality.
