Is The Gibbs Quadski The Ultimate Summer Toy

One of the biggest problems with purchasing an expensive summer toy is that as seasons change their usability gets parked in the garage under the coolers and bottles of SPF-15 lotion. In the history of expensive toys, the only one that has year round appeal, takes us to the grand skies by way of miniature planes. If you want to stay grounded for your year round enjoyment, there has been nowhere to turn until now, until Gibbs with their Quadski. The Quadski from Gibbs has been able to mate two aspects of summer fun with all season entertainment. Blending perfectly the joy of Jet-skiing and ATV offroading.
The Quadski, made popular by the last Top Gear episode, is powered by a #BMW engine and operates like any traditional ATV until it hits water and the operator retracts the wheels. Creating a vehicle that is able to operate efficiently and effectively in both arenas, land and water, is no easy engineering accomplishment. There are government rules and regulations that must be followed in order for the Quadski to make it into production, for instance a Jet Ski cannot have headlights. To better understand how the Quadski works and how Gibbs engineered their way around government transportation guidelines, see the video below. You can also catch Jeremy Clarkson having butt blasting fun on the Quadski.
