Mini John Cooper Works GP Finds Traction

When seeking to boost the performance of a car, most auto enthusiast will advise you to start with the engine; big air intake, throw in a couple turbos in the mix and chill out after the intercooler is added. All of these additions would definitely provide some serious horse power gains. But what is power if it cannot be controlled, it is wheel spinning, tire annihilating, smoke creating, and go nowhere quickly fun.
The Mini John Cooper Works GP takes an already amazing car, the Mini John Cooper and enhances the ride and grip capabilities of the car by improving the chassis stability through better dampers and suspension, locking the car to the road by utilizing stickier tires. The GP horsepower gains are minor at best, but around a track and on the road, the few suspension and chassis changes have made the GP into a track day legend.
